My Dear Students,
I would like to create a web library that we all could use as a good source of help with math.
In order to do that, I need your input. Please post your favorite websites about mathematics and explain why you would recommend these sites to your classmates. Try to be specific with your explanation.
I will be adding to the Blog my favorite links. You might like them so please check them out.
Here is the first link that I would like to add to the library:
http://www.regentsprep.org/Regents/math/ALGEBRA/math-ALGEBRA.htm
This is my favorite site about Regents exam. On this website, you can find exams from various years. Also, it is a good source of explanations and review of many Math topics. Furthermore, you can practice solving different problems and test your knowledge by taking tests or quizzes.
Another example of a website that will be part of our library is the following website:
http://www.jmap.org/
I often use this site to create worksheets for class work. There are many interesting parts such as archives with old exams, problems sorted by topics, Regents books and resources for teachers.
I added two of my favorite sites and now it is your turn to continue creating this math library.

Good luck.

Ms. S.

Hello my students.

It is time to start our communication online.

I expect you to have amazing collaborative work with your classmates and students from my other classes. Your first assignment is about your goal for this math class.

Please write your goal. I would like you to be specific about your goal. After your goal is written, please answer questions below:

· What exactly are you proposing to do?

· What steps will it take to accomplish your goal?

· How will you know when you are half way there?

· What will you need to accomplish your goal?

· How can others help you work on your goal?

I wish you luck with your assignment. If you have any questions you may ask me or any other faculty members.

Ms. S
